Meet Sammy (Samantha), your friendly and supportive Performance-Focused Dietitian right here at Ideal Nutrition! With a strong background in health and nutrition, Sammy completed her Bachelor of Exercise & Nutrition Sciences and Master of Dietetics at the esteemed University of Queensland.

Sammy’s passion for sports and performance goes way back, as she has actively competed in both team and individual sports at the National level. This personal experience, coupled with her work in the field of performance nutrition, has given her invaluable insights into the significant impact of nutrition on performance enhancement, body image, relationship with food, body composition, and injury prevention.

Sammy specializes in fueling both recreational and high-performance athletes involved in team sports such as soccer, netball, and AFL, as well as individual sports like long-distance running, triathlon & powerlifting.

However, Sammy’s expertise extends beyond sports nutrition. She is equally passionate about helping clients develop a positive relationship with food and their bodies, addressing concerns such as disordered eating. Additionally, Sammy has a keen interest in promoting optimal gut health, particularly in managing conditions like IBS. Women’s health is another area close to her heart.

Sammy believes that every meal presents an opportunity to nourish both the body and mind. She’s dedicated to making nutrition an enjoyable part of your life while supporting your goals for optimal physical and mental performance.
