Medicare Rebate Eligibility
Sessions with any of our Accredited Practising Dietitians are eligible for Medicare rebates under the Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDMP) or Eating Disorder Care Plan (EDP).
These plans provide rebates of $61.20 per eligible session. Rebates are refunded into your medicare-nominated bank account within 7 days after the appointment date. There is still a remaining out of pocket cost, which will vary according to practitioner rates.
Your GP can establish eligibility for either of these plans. Please forward any referrals to ad***@****************om.au.
Department of Veteran’s Affairs (DVA)
DVA Health Card Holders (Gold and White) are entitled to access dietetics services with a relevant GP referral.
If you are eligible, we would encourage you to see your doctor for a referral. Please forward any referrals to ad***@****************om.au.
Private Health Fund Rebates
Most private health funds provide rebates for dietetics consultations. Eligibility and rebate amounts vary depending on your health fund and level of cover. Dietetic services are typically included under ‘extras’ cover.
